Recognizing the creative economy as a cornerstone of sustainable growth, the Finnish government integrated its advancement into its broader national program. With an ambitious timeline and an emphasis on tangible results, we were tasked with designing workshops that would quickly transition ideas into concrete actions. These sessions aimed to address long-standing challenges while uncovering potential areas of growth.
We created a streamlined, three-step workshop model that encouraged focused yet flexible dialogue. Participants included representatives from a wide array of creative fields—film, literature, gaming, music, design, performing arts, architecture, and cultural heritage—alongside public institutions, NGOs, and creative businesses. A tailored conversation guide supported the discussions, ensuring that key topics were covered while allowing room for participants’ diverse insights. The workshops attracted over 80 stakeholders and generated dozens of actionable proposals. Following these sessions, we organized the outcomes into a thematic summary, providing a solid foundation for the next stages of the strategy.
